Happy Women’s History Month from Teach to One! This month offers an amazing opportunity to highlight the lives of women mathematicians and their stories. This week, we’ve chosen to celebrate the life of Augusta Ada King, Countess of Lovelace. She wrote the first algorithm for a machine in the 1800s and is considered the first computer programmer. Because of her work, Ada Lovelace transformed the trajectory of the computer industry. We’ll be releasing cards on these women pioneers in Math as a downloadable resource for students and teachers on their work.
