Our final AAPI Mathematician highlighting this month is space exploration trailblazer Josephine Jue. Josephine joined NASA in 1963, being one of eight women and the sole and first Asian-American woman. Josephine worked as a Space Shuttle program compiler and the historic Apollo 11 moon landing! She is best known for developing, implementing, and maintaining the HAL/S system during the Space Shuttle program.
Thank you for joining us in celebrating the lives and contributions of AAPI Mathematicians. You can learn more about Josephine by downloading the card below and other AAPI trailblazers in math here.
